Spring has definitely sprung in Napa, the vines are  growing vibrantly,  the hills are slow getting golden. Another sure way to tell besides, the weather and our vine stocks  is the Real Estate Market. Marketing your home in the spring and summer can really be a bit of a challenge...why so, because we typically have more inventory ...meaning more homes on the market thus more competition.  If circumstances have you looking at selling your home here are a few tips that I’ve put together that have been proven to really work in getting quicker results.

1. Tidy the grounds, porch, garage and sheds. Keep the lawn trimmed and edged. Make sure the yard is clean of all refuse.
2. Your front door gives a vital first impression. Make sure it is clean from all fingerprints, grime, and any repairs needed are done.
3. Dress up your windows, make sure they are clean and the drapes are pressed and washed.
4. If any updating is needed do it now! Especially in the kitchen. $20 gallon of paint can net you $100’s in the sale price or negotiations.
